Dinner & a Suit Stops by WLNZ studio and shows love for mitten state

Last Wednesday, Nov. 19 Nashville-based indie rock band Dinner and a Suit stopped by the WLNZ studio in Lansing before their show at Mac’s Bar.

The boys of the band(cousins from New Jersey Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta, longtime friend Anthony Genca and Nashville native Drew Scheur) sat down for a little interview and an acoustic performance of their song “Can’t Get Enough.”

Dinner and a Suit spoke about picking songs and recording their EP Stay at Smoakstack Studio in Nashville. They also gave a special shout-out to Fusion Shows, local area radio stations and the loyal Lansing fanbase they’ve created here.

Lead vocalist Jonathan Capeci spoke about the area’s music lovers and how they’ll gladly return to this snowy state, again and again. “This city, for whatever reason, has been early receptors to our music before some cities that would make more sense,” Capeci said, referring to the Capital city.
