Folk Pop Band Bennett celebrates EP Release

The boys of Bennett are no strangers to the WLNZ station. We first met them at our live weekly radio show at Sir Pizza Cafe in Old Town, back in July of 2013.

Immediately drawn to their beautiful harmonies and good-natured humor, we wanted to learn and hear more about this Grand rapids indie folk pop band.

Bennett is Nick Rolls (violin, mandolin, vocals), Nick Warren (keys, accordion, vocals) and Josiah Gentry (guitar, vocals).

They’ve already seen their fair share of prestigious gigs including opening up for The Avett Brothers at Lansing’s Common Ground Music Fest and have toured the country. In their hometown, they’ve received $1,000 as the winners of Grand Rapids’ very own GR’s ‘Got Talent.’

They’ve been featured as our M897 artist spotlight and we’re always happy to give a well-deserved shout-out to fellow Michigan musical talent.

They released their newest single, “Give A Little Love” on Oct. 7 to already raving-reviews.
